A vacation cottage for a family of six on a beautiful forested site that was lovingly restored to it's environmentally natural state by the owner after being a logging site for many years. The log frame is made of solid Oregon pine. Cedar boards, natural stone wainscoting and slate roof tiles compliment the rustic design. Redwood accents collected from found trees on the site highlight the mantel on the living room fireplace and the kitchen cabinet inlay doors. Designed while at Russell + Davis Architects.

Renovation and expansion of existing home.
A tired cottage was updated to a Hamptons style home with traditional moldings and detailing throughout. The home was expanded, adding a second level with a master suite. Custom cabinetry is a feature in this house including the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, closets, mud room, laundry room and study. A contemporary family residence with a spectacular setting overlooking the Belvedere lagoon. Using a mixture of natural stone, limestone flooring, concrete countertops, mahogany wood and wrought iron creates a home that is modern, inviting and warm. Interior remodel and exterior entry improvements of existing home.
Custom cabinetry is a feature in this house with new designs for the kitchen, butler's pantry, mud room, study, upstairs hall, master bedroom, second bathroom, and kid's homework desk. Simple design improvements were made to the front facade to spruce up the curb appeal of the home, including new garage doors with a trellis above, custom designed shutters at key windows and a new paint scheme. The existing foyer received a facelift as well with wood paneling on the walls, refinished wood floors and a new design for the stair and railing. A new design for a traditional shingle-style family residence. The floor plan is a symmetrical layout with two wings and a center connection clad in stone. At the center of the house is the living room and dining room with a vaulted ceiling and transom windows to create a generous and open space with lots of natural light. The side wings contain the garage, kitchen, family room, bedrooms and bathrooms. This is an efficient layout with three bedrooms and two baths in total, all on a single level so every room is connected to the exterior with tall windows and French doors. Exterior entry improvements and expansion of existing home.
The project scope included a new entry portico with trellis feature and an improved front door design and entry vestibule; a new wood balcony with custom outrigger supports at the front facade; new garage doors; and expansion of the second floor with new dormer and windows to create a third bedroom.
